1. The median age for divorce is 28
2. One out of two marriages end in divorce
3. Christians in mainline churches are divorcing at a higher rate than non-Christians
4. The number of unmarried partners living together increased by 72% in the last decade
5. 55% of children will see their parents divorce before they leave home
6. 65% of new marriages will end in divorce
7. Marriages have a 75% marriage failure rate
8. 62% of today’s 20 something’s believe that living together before marriage is a good way to avoid future divorce
9. Grown children of divorced parents are less likely to be happily married and more likely to divorce than children whose   parents  stayed together
