Ephesians 5
21 Submitting yourselves one to
another in the fear of God. 22 Wives, submit
yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto
the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of
the wife, even as Christ is the head of the
church: and he is the savior of the body. 24
Therefore as the church is subject unto
Christ, so let the wives be to their own
husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love
your wives, even as Christ also loved the
church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he
might sanctify and cleanse it with the
washing of water by the word.
27 That he might present it to himself a
glorious church, not having spot, or
wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it
should be holy and without blemish. 28 So
ought men to love their wives as their own
bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth
himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his
own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it,
even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are
members of his body, of his flesh, and of
his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man
leave his father and mother, and shall be
joined unto his wife, and they two shall be
one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I
speak concerning Christ and the church. 33
Nevertheless let every one of you in
particular so love his wife even as himself;
and the wife see that she reverence her
husband.

Genesis 2
18 And the LORD God
said, It is not good that the man should be
alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to
fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took
one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh
instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the
LORD God had taken from man, made he a
woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And
Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and
flesh of my flesh: she shall be called
Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24
Therefore shall a man leave his father and
his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife:
and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they
were both naked, the man and his wife, and
were not ashamed.

1 Corinthians 7
1 Now concerning the things whereof ye
wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to
touch a woman. 2 Nevertheless, to avoid
fornication, let every man have his own
wife, and let every woman have her own
husband. 3 Let the husband render unto the
wife due benevolence: and likewise also the
wife unto the husband. 4 The wife hath not
power of her own body, but the husband: and
likewise also the husband hath not power of
his own body, but the wife. 5 Defraud ye not
one the other, except it be with consent for
a time, that ye may give yourselves to
fasting and prayer; and come together again,
that Satan tempt you not for your
incontinency.

Hebrews 13
1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Be not
forgetful to entertain strangers: for
thereby some have entertained angels
unawares. 3 Remember them that are in
bonds, as bound with them; and them
which suffer adversity, as being
yourselves also in the body. 4 Marriage
is honorable in all, and the bed
undefiled: but whoremongers and
adulterers God will judge.

Matthew 19
3 The Pharisees also came unto him,
tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it
lawful for a man to put away his wife for
every cause? 4 And he answered and said
unto them, Have ye not read, that he which
made them at the beginning made them male
and female, 5 And said, For this cause
shall a man leave father and mother, and
shall cleave to his wife: and they twain
shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are
no more twain, but one flesh. What
therefore God hath joined together, let
not man put asunder. 7 They say unto him,
Why did Moses then command to give a
writing of divorcement, and to put her
away? 8 He saith unto them, Moses because
of the hardness of your hearts suffered
you to put away your wives: but from the
beginning it was not so. 9 And I say unto
you, Whosoever shall put away his wife,
except it be for fornication, and shall
marry another, committeth adultery: and
whoso marrieth her which is put away doth
commit adultery.

Colossians 3
18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your
own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not
bitter against them.

1 Peter 3
1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection
to your own husbands; that, if any obey
not the word, they also may without the
word be won by the conversation of the
wives; 2 While they behold your chaste
conversation coupled with fear. 3 Whose
adorning let it not be that outward
adorning of plaiting the hair, and of
wearing of gold, or of putting on of
apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man
of the heart, in that which is not
corruptible, even the ornament of a meek
and quiet spirit, which is in the sight
of God of great price. 5 For after this
manner in the old time the holy women
also, who trusted in God, adorned
themselves, being in subjection unto
their own husbands: 6 Even as Sara
obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose
daughters ye are, as long as ye do well,
and are not afraid with any amazement. 7
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them
according to knowledge, giving honour
unto the wife, as unto the weaker
vessel, and as being heirs together of
the grace of life; that your prayers be
not hindered

Proverbs 18
22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good
thing, and obtaineth favour of the
LORD.

Ecclesiastes 4
9 Two are better than one; because they
have a good reward for their labour. 10
For if they fall, the one will lift up his
fellow: but woe to him that is alone when
he falleth; for he hath not another to
help him up. 11 Again, if two lie
together, then they have heat: but how can
one be warm alone? 12 And if one prevail
against him, two shall withstand him; and
a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Matthew 18
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of
you shall agree on earth as touching any
thing that they shall ask, it shall be
done for them of my Father which is in
heaven.

Philippians 4
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things
are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever
things are pure, whatsoever things are
lovely, whatsoever things are of good
report; if there be any virtue, and if
there be any praise, think on these
things.

Jeremiah 29
11 For I know the thoughts that I think
toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of
peace, and not of evil, to give you an
expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon
me, and ye shall go and pray unto me,
and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye
shall seek me, and find me, when ye
shall search for me with all your heart.

Deuteronomy 32
30 How should one chase a thousand, and
two put ten thousand to flight, except
their Rock had sold them, and the LORD
had shut them up?

Mark 10
7 For this cause shall a man leave his
father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so
then they are no more twain, but one
flesh. 9 What therefore God hath joined
together, let not man put asunder.

1 John 5
14 And this is the confidence that we have
in him, that, if we ask any thing
according to his will, he heareth us: 15
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever
we ask, we know that we have the petitions
that we desired of him.

Mark 11
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them,
Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say
unto you, That whosoever shall say unto
this mountain, Be thou removed, and be
thou cast into the sea; and shall not
doubt in his heart, but shall believe that
those things which he saith shall come to
pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things
soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe
that ye receive them, and ye shall have
them.

Communication Scriptures (KJV)
Ephesians 4
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Matthew 12
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Colossians 3
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Colossians 4
6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Ephesians 5
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

James 3
1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. 2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. 4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. 7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Proverbs 15
1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. 2 The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.
7 The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.
23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

Proverbs 25
11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Psalms 141
3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Proverbs 18
4 The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.
6 A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes. 7 A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul. 8 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. 22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth
favor
of the LORD.
